Movie review (Bohemian Rhapsody) and theater review ( Dear Evan Hansen)

Go to vocal media and see my two reviews. Bohemian Rhapsody  looks at the life of Freddie Mercury , a one time baggage handler turned rock and roll superstar.  This movie which was panned by other critics, is one of the best rock films of all time. Mike Myers of Wayne’s World on SNL plays an EMI  executive,  who refuses to release Bohemian Rhapsody because of its 6 minute length.

The whole cast is really great in this movie. Go to Vocsl Media to see my in depth review of Bohemian rhapsody.

Dear Evan Hansen is also reviewed on Vocal Media. Dear Evan Hansen has many great songs with terrific acting in it. After winning the Tony Award two years ago, Dear Evan Hansen continues to pack in audiences from all over the Country and the World.

Both reviews go very in depth and you should go to Vocal Media and view not just these, but other reviews, both music concerts like the great Boz Scaggs and all my theater reviews as well as Bohemian Rhapsody. Next month will feature To Kill a Mockingbird in vocal media. This Monday will have my review of the play, Thanksgiving,  now playing at the Playwrights Horizon.

Look for my reviews of Ferryman,  To Kill A Mockingbird,  Waverly gallery in Metropolitan magazine.  All reviews will either be in the magazine,  or some. All, however, will be on Metropolitan magazine on line.

Metropolitan magazine has between 300,000 and 400,000 subscribers in the NY, Metropolitan area. I am happy to be joining the Magazine as the chief drama critic. I am also happy to be co writing (story by) A LIFE IN THE RYE . It is a story by J. D. Salinger.  We hope to have it out in a NYC theater by late next fall.

Bohemian Rhapsody and Dear Evan Hansen on vocal today.  Go to vocal and check out all my reviews.

Go pick up a copy of Metropolitan magazine,  or go on line and see all of the goings on in NYC.  In what is a great theater season, it is good to be well informed on what is best to see in Broadway theater. ALifspan of a fact is also going to be in Metropolitan magazine.  It is a hilariously funny play with three great actors. The play has three actors, across three generations and their personalities add to the humor. Trying to get an article out on time is non stop laughs for the audience. Based on a true story, we dont know what us fact nor fiction.

Life span of a fact, Ferryman and Waverly Gsllery are not to be missed. Find out why on vocal and Metropolitan magazine.

Coming to Broadway this Winter will be Ethan Hawke in True West. True West is  part of Sam Shepards great trilogy. Sam Shepard is considered by many to be one of America’s great Playwrights.  After True West, we have All My Sons going into the American Airlines theater . Arthur Miller’s  shocking story. Kiss Me Kate will be at Studio 54 in February.  These three will be reviewed in both Vocal and Metropolitan magazine.  Kiss Me Kate is the Cole Porter gem. In 2000, I had the opportunity to see it and was one of the best musicals I had ever seen.
